Apache MeetUp Kandy event was held at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka on 28th of April which was a whole day event.
Dr. Srinath Perera, Nandika Jayawardana, Sagara Gunathunga, Anuradha Ratnaweera, Suhothayan Sriskandarajah, Prabath Abeysekera and Kathiravelu Pradeeban, invited speakers had sessions on various topics related to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF).
There was a Fedora booth at the event premises and Fedora 16 media, Fedora stickers and few Fedora cheat cubes were available at the booth. Lali Devamanthri, Charindu Thiwanka and Buddhike Kurera were represented the booth. Some participants joined with the Fedora Sri Lanka community at the booth.
